Miley And Noah Cyrus Remix Miley’s Iconic Cover Of “Jolene” And It’s Awesome

Miley Cyrus has an absolutely kickass cover of “Jolene” from almost 10 years ago that I’ve always loved.

But, on her Miley’s New Year’s Eve special recently, she sang a completely different version of it with her younger sister, Noah.

Of course, her medley with Brandi Carlile of “The Climb” and “The Story” was great, but her performance with her sister caught my eye as one of the best of the night.

It’s one of Dolly Parton’s most iconic songs, and both Miley and Noah have killer voices of their own and a natural chemistry on stage since they’re sisters, so I thought they really knocked it out of the park on this one and sounded great together.

Covering Dolly is no easy task, especially when she’s your godmother, and I definitely think they did her proud here.

I have to say, as much as I loved the performances on New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash from Riley Green, Jon Pardi, Chris Janson and even Carly Pearce, Miley put on a pretty great show of her own in New York City and brought some country to the Big Apple, which is always a win in my book:

And her original cover is an absolute must-listen if you’ve never heard it before:
