Happy New Year’s Eve.
2023 felt like we finally started to put that chaos of pandemic era behind us and really turn the corner towards normalcy. Of course, we’re heading into an election year, with divisiveness at an all-time high so I guess it was fun while it lasted…
However, 2023 was a great year for country music, and there’s perhaps none greater than the Turnpike Troubadours.
The Oklahoma natives dropped their first post-hiatus record, A Cat In The Rain, played a ton of shows, headlined a ton of festivals… and they’ll look to continue that momentum next year.
I suppose Turnpike’s “Ringing In The Year” isn’t exactly a chipper tune, but who cares… Evan Felker and the boys are BACK.
Here’s to 2024.
