Zach Bryan had himself a hell of a show in Boston a couple weeks ago, which included a full live version of his unreleased song “Something in the Orange”.
But before we get to that, you need to know a little bit of the back story about what happened during this concert.
Apparently, Zach had some bad Chipotle before the show, and ended up getting sick and throwing up in the middle of “Heading South” (that lettuce will getcha). Fortunately, he was able to bounce back and finish his set, because that’s just the kind of performer he is.
But, I have to imagine it wasn’t the most pleasant experience by any means, and he gave a little insight into how it went down in a series of hilarious tweets after the show:
No word on how Chipotle was able to help, but one great thing came out of that show… and it’s a glorious, full version of Zach’s unreleased track he’s already teased on Twitter called “Something in the Orange”.
At this point, we all now that Zach just does not miss, and I’m already obsessed with this new song… probably even more so after hearing the full thing. With a new album (hopefully) dropping in 2022, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing this one on the final tracklist.
At least, I hope it makes the final cut, because it’s a damn good breakup tune and I need a studio version now about as bad as people in Hell need ice water:
