Josh Turner And Randy Travis Performing “Your Man” Together Back 2006 Is Country Music GOLD

Two of the best voices in country music on one incredible song? Sign me up.

Way back in 2006, a couple Carolina boys, Randy Travis and Josh Turner, got together for a performance of Josh’s hit “Your Man,” and hell if it isn’t just perfection.

Seriously though, they really are two of the most distinctive voices in the genre, and the deep, rich quality of their vocals just blend so perfectly together.

Written by Chris Stapleton, Chris DuBois and Jace Everett, “Your Man” was released in 2005 as the lead single and title track from Josh’s album of the same name, and became his first career #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

This particular video is from back in 2006 during an episode of CMT Cross Country, which also featured performances from them of a few of Randy’s songs like “Three Wooden Crosses” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” as well as Josh’s “Long Black Train”.

If there was ever a duo in country music that we needed to see sing together, this is IT. Thank the Lord for Randy Travis and Josh Turner… I mean, there’s just somethin’ about them as a pair that cleanses the soul.

Do yourself a huge favor and check out their performance:

Josh also recently did a reimagined version of the original music video of the song as a part of a special deluxe edition of his Your Man record:
