John Daly Believes That Tiger Woods Will Probably Break Jack Nicklaus’ Record For Major Championships

Tiger Woods John Daly

John Daly and his son John Jr. played some damn good golf this past weekend at the PNC Championship.

As well as they played, all eyes were on Tiger Woods and his son Charlie, as it was Tiger’s first tournament since his horrible car wreck in February that left him with a badly fractured leg.

The duo played some really good golf themselves, finishing second behind the Dalys. Not to mention, they made a mind-boggling 11 birdies in a row on Sunday, with Tiger lookin’ like his old self again.

Speaking of John Daly, he believes that Tiger will be back in full form very soon, even stating that he believes he’ll break Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18 major championships.

He told Fox & Friends:

“Tiger’s going to be fine. He looked good. He looked a little tired, but he still looked great.

And, he’ll be back. I can see it in his eyes. He’s probably going to beat Jack Nicklaus’ records and be the greatest of all time.”

Now how awesome of a comeback story would that be?

With all of the injuries and setbacks Tiger has faced in his career, it would be arguably the greatest comeback story of all time if he could somehow beat Jack Nicklaus’s record.
