Carrie Underwood Singing “O Come All Ye Faithful” Will Inject The Christmas Spirit Right Into Your Veins

To be honest, I don’t think anyone can sing a Christmas song quite like Carrie Underwood.

She has the voice of an angel, and I would actually listen to her sing the phone book (if they even still make those).

While I love the unconventional Christmas tunes of the Pistol Annies and the Texas twang of Cody Johnson’s Christmas stuff, when it comes to classic Christmas song, no one holds a candle to Carrie.

We recently shared a video of her singing “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” at Rockefeller Center, and today, she put out a new video of her singing “O Come All Ye Faithful” from her deluxe My Gift Christmas album.

She did it as part of The Original Santa Claus Parade in Toronto, Canada, and with Christmas barely over a week away, it was too good not share.

The original hymn dates back to the mid-1700’s, but it’s been covered by countless artists over the years and is one of my favorite Christmas songs.

If you’re feeling the stress of the holiday season as we start to hit crunch time with Christmas right around the corner, take a second to watch this. It’s a great reminder of the meaning of the holiday and will definitely, for at least three minutes, raise your serotonin levels:

And while you’re here, you should check out her precious duet on “Little Drummer Boy” with her son Isaiah:
