Lukas Nelson Joins Jennifer Lopez For Surprise Performance Of “On My Way” During ‘The Voice’ Finale

It’s the duo we never knew we needed.

Lukas Nelson took the stage for a surprise performance with Jennifer Lopez on the finale of The Voice last night, shredding the guitar as she climbed a huge staircase and eventually ended up next to him at the top of it.

They sang her new ballad, “On My Way,” which is a song from her upcoming rom-com movie, Marry Me, that she’ll star in alongside Owen Wilson and Maluma. Jenny from the Block still has it after all these years… it’s impossible to believe she’s 52 years old.

It’s actually not the first time they’ve played together, though, because back in 2019, Lukas played guitar for J-Lo on “Heartbreak Hotel,” during an Elvis Presley All-Star Tribute.

He posted a video of them on stage together last night, and it’s cool to see him get this kind of national exposure because he’s an absolutely incredible artist.

“Surprise!! What an honor! Thank you so much for having me on the The Voice, J-Lo.

Joined by a fantastic group of musicians like Stevie Mackey on piano and the incredible Voice house band! What a blast.”

The band Girl Named Tom was crowned the winner of season 21, the first-ever non-solo act to win The Voice, and it was the 4th victory for coach Kelly Clarkson.
