Hardy Drops Final Hixtape Track, “Goin’ Nowhere,” Featuring Morgan Wallen And Foo Fighters Guitarist Chris Shiflett

Hardy’s Hixtape Vol. 2 has featured a ton of different country artists, across the entire album.

33 different collaborators on 14 songs, the album (which is out in full today) features likes of Ronnie Dunn, Dierks Bentley, Midland, Lainey Wilson, Randy Houser, Brothers Osborne, Marty Stuart, Jon Pardi, David Lee Murphy, and a ton more.

However, we really haven’t seen him feature anybody outside of the genre…

Until now.

It’s obvious that Hardy is a big rock music guy, along with country.

You hear a lot of rock influence in his music, especially on the Hixtape projects, and he even created a revamped rendition of Puddle Of Mudd’s legendary rock hit “Blurry” earlier this year.

Needless to say, it was a matter of time before he invited a rockstar to join his plethora of singers on his Hixtape Vol. 2 album, right?

Enter Chris Shiflett from the Foo Fighters.

Shiflett is featured on Hardy’s latest song “Goin’ Nowhere,” which also features Morgan Wallen. It’s the final song from Hixtape Vol. 2, which has been released track by track for the past 14 weeks.

Check it out:

And if you’re not familiar with Shiflett’s country solo work, you need to give that a listen as well.

His 2017 solo project, West Coast Town, as well as his 2019, solo album, Hard Lessons, are must-listens.
