Looks Like Morgan Wallen & Ernest Are Dropping “Flower Shops” This Friday

It looks like Morgan Wallen is gearing up to put out two new songs this Friday.

We’ve known about his upcoming feature on Hardy’s Hixtape Vol. 2 for “Goin’ Nowhere” with Chris Shiflett for a while now.

But, it appears as though he has a new video coming out along with his song, “Flower Shops,” too.

His friend and frequent collaborator, Ernest, co-wrote it with Ben Burgess and Mark Holman after he was inspired by the George Jones classic heartbreaker, “A Good Year For The Roses”.

Morgan posted a video on his Instagram story last week saying that he was headed into town to shoot a music video, and Ernest also shared a cryptic photo featuring his boots and a dozen red roses a couple days ago, saying in part:

“Got somethin’ for y’all Friday.”

Morgan’s been hinting at putting out new music for a while, and has even shared quite a few videos of unreleased stuff on social media over the last several months.

And, he specifically mentioned before that he and Ernest were planning to sing the song together on a studio recording when he debuted it at Loser’s in Nashville a few months back. They’ve already performed it live together quite a few times at several live shows, as well.

With all that being said, it looks like this just might be the first new song Morgan’s put out since Dangerous was released in February.

Morgan also recently mentioned that “Wasted On You” might be his next single to country radio.

In addition to the (likely) new music, he’s gearing up to his the road on his massive Dangerous tour that starts in February, and he’s already sold out 48 of the 51 shows after adding several new dates in the process:

He also recently topped the list of Billboard’s Top 200 album’s of the year with his double album, beating out the likes of Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo for the top spot.

Here’s a live performance of Morgan and Ernest singing “Flower Shops” together last month to get you warmed up for Friday:
