Zac Brown Band To Perform On College GameDay During SEC Championship

Where has the time gone.

It feels like yesterday when the college football season kicked off, and boom, it’s already time for conference championship football.

We have a number of great matchups ahead of us, but the one that everybody in the nation will have their eyes on is the SEC Championship between the number four ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, and the number one ranked Georgia Bulldogs.

This is basically a College Football Playoff game, as the Crimson Tide is fighting to keep their spot in the playoff, and Georgia is trying to win an SEC Championship for the first time since 2017.

The SEC Championship is held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, and what’s better than having a hometown band perform at the game?

And the band who will be performing will be Zac Brown Band.

Not the best choice in the world, but with artists like Kane Brown and Florida Georgia Line being from Georgia, it could be a whole lot worse.

College GameDay announced the news via Twitter, with this message from Zac Brown himself:

“Hey everybody I’m Zac Brown, and wanted to let y’all know we’re gonna be performing live on ESPN’s College GameDay. It’s next Saturday December 4th, in Atlanta, and we’re stoked to have the SEC Championship in Atlanta.

We’ll be performing a song on the new album, and if you’re at GameDay stick around for two more songs after the show. The atmosphere up here is gonna be crazy, can’t wait to see you all out there.”
