To say that I’m jacked for the premiere of 1883 is an understatement.
During tonight’s episode of Yellowstone, we got an extended new look at the upcoming prequel series of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone world.
Starring Sam Elliott and country music’s own power couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, 1883 is the story of how the Duttons came to settle in Montana.
The prequel series tells the origin story of the Dutton family and how they made their way from Texas across the treacherous Great Plains to settle on the modern day Dutton Ranch property.
Billy Bob Thornton, Isabel May and LaMonica Garrett are also set to star in the show, however today, according to Deadline, Audie Rick, Marc Rissmann, Eric Nelsen and James Landry Hébert will join the cast as well.
Additional cast members includes Dawn Olivieri, Emma Malouff, Alex Fine, Gratiela Brancusi, Anna Fiamora, Nichole Galicia, Stephanie Nur (Four Women and a Funeral), Amanda Jaros, Noah Le Gros, and Martin Sensmeier.
1883 is set to premiere December 19th on Paramount+.
