VIDEO: Luke Combs Blows The Roof Off A Small Bar Singing “Let The Moonshine” In 2014

Luke Combs country music

There’s just somethin’ about old videos of Luke Combs playing small bars before anyone knew who he was that’s so damn cool.

Mostly, it’s because he hasn’t changed one bit, which speaks to his authenticity as an artist.

This video features Luke, and his best friend Adam Church, playing “Let The Moonshine” back in 2014 at a place called the Quaker Steak n’ Lube. And yes, that was a real place… there’s actually a handful of them in the eastern part of the country.

But, I digress…

The song is from Luke’s 2014 EP, The Way She Rides, which also features two other underrated gems including the title track, as well as one of my very favorite Luke Combs songs, “I Know She Ain’t Ready”.

I mean, we all know Mr. Entertainer of the Year is blowing the roofs off of arenas, and stadiums, all over the country now, but he’s been doing the same damn thing for years even before all of the fame notoriety.

And, again, stuff like this just reinforces how easy it is to believe him when he puts out songs like “Doin’ This”:

“What a throwback to 2014! Quaker Steak in Concord, NC!”

And the music video is worth a watch, too, if you want to see even more old school footage of Luke:
