It’s been quite the journey for Zach Bryan thus far.

From going viral on Twitter, to recording his first album Diane in an Airbnb, to re-recording a song with Dave Cobb for Yellowstone, and now becoming a household name for anybody with moderately good taste in country music, it’s been a ride to say the least.

Not to mention, he did all of this while in the Navy before he honorably discharged last month.

And now, he’s officially beginning to reap the benefits of his hard work.

One of his original songs, “Heading South,” just reached RIAA Certified Gold, via Warner Records.

Talk about unprecedented… I mean, we’re talking about someone who hasn’t received an ounce of radio play, an ounce of professional support (until recently), and he recorded this entire song himself… bare bones, no bells and whistles… it’s just incredible.

But at the end of the day, the man has an uncanny gift for connecting with raw human emotions. Production value be damned, when Zach Bryan speaks it touches the hearts and souls of people that hear it.

It’s not hard to see why he’s an absolute superstar in the making.

And of course, the original video that put him on the map:
