Blake Shelton Debuts Wedding Vow Song He Wrote For Gwen Stefani, “We Can Reach The Stars”

Remember when we were begging Blake Shelton to bring back his original sound, like his hits “Ol’ Red” and “Austin?”

Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, as he gave us Body Language, which if you can’t tell, the album title says it all…

Can somebody just tell ol’ Blake that he had so much potential to produce incredible, authentic country music, and should just… do it. It all went downhill when he cut the mullet.

Anyways, those days appear to be long gone, but the great news about the man is that he’s found him a woman he loves, pop singer Gwen Stefani.

The two have recently gotten married, and when the two were preparing their wedding vows, Shelton decided to put his vows into song. And now he’s giving us the song for us all to hear.

Titled “We Can Reach The Stars,” it will be released with the Body Language Deluxe album, slated to drop on December 3rd.

He discussed creating the song:

“Gwen and I decided we were going to write our own vows for the wedding, but I decided to surprise her by writing a song instead.

I reached out to my buddy Craig Wiseman, who is a world-class songwriter, to help me write and structure something that would stand the test of time. I’m really proud of ‘We Can Reach The Stars’ and I’m really honored to be with her.

That’s why we got married in the first place. That’s why we wear rings… because we want everyone to know. I’m thrilled to share this song with the world.”
