It’s Official… We’re Getting A Chris Stapleton Duet On Adele’s New Album, ’30’

Adele Chris Stapleton

There are two things that are impossible to argue when it comes to music right now…

Chris Stapleton is objectively one of the greatest singer/songwriters in the business.

And, Adele is objectively one of the greatest singer/songwriters in the business.

Needless to say, it was incredible to hear last week that Adele’s dream duet was Chris Stapleton. Of course, she failed to mention (or it hadn’t happened yet) that her dream was about to come true.

We got the news today that Adele’s new 15-track album, 30, includes a Target-Exclusive bonus track titled “Easy On Me,” featuring none other than Stapleton himself.

Outside of the country music world, Chris Stapleton has worked with everybody from Justin Timberlake to Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran, to Pink, Carlos Santana and more, but I think it’s pretty obvious that this one will top them all.

Stay tuned, ladies and gents… this just might go down as one of the best duets of all time.

Adele famously covered The Steeldrivers “If It Hadn’t Been For Love” at Royal Albert Hall quite a few years back, which also appeared as a bonus track on her 21 album.

30 is set for release on November 19th.
