Ol’ Blake is gearing up for a big game this Thursday…
And he’s already hittin’ the sauce.
The country music star and The Voice judge is a BIG Cardinals guy, perhaps the only Cardinals fan in country music (maybe Dierks Bentley too?), but Kyler Murray and the undefeated Cards are taking on Aaron Rodgers and the 6-1 Green Bay Packers this week.
Blake Shelton recently joined NFL Network’s Good Morning Football Live for a chat about Thursday Night Football:
“I’m fired up about this thing, I got my campfire out here that I’m gonna fire up tomorrow and I’m probably going to start drinking right now, actually. I’m gonna start drinking right now.
I got my ‘Hail Murray’ cup… bring it on.”
You wanna talk about drinkin’ Blake? Try being a Chicago Bears fan… it’s brutal.
Between the Bears, the Cubs, and the Blackhawks… Chicago sports are solely responsible for the amount of alcoholism in this city. That, plus the brutal winters, the our God-awful politicians, and the fact that there’s really nothing to do here but eat and drink.
But most of all it’s the sports…
That being said, I’ve got Kyler Murray on my fantasy team and love to watch the Packers lose… so I’m fixin’ to do my own share of drinking during Thursday Night Football this week.
