Another race, another Kyle Larson victory.
Kyle Larson’s dominate run continued yesterday at Kansas Speedway, where he notched his second win in as many races in the Round of 8. As of right now, he’s the only driver guaranteed a spot in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship race.
Chase Elliott, who finished 2nd at Kansas and Denny Hamlin, who’s been consistent all year, are in the best position to advance to the Championship heading into the final race art Martinsville, but as Ryan Blaney learned the hard way yesterday, anything can happen.
Kyle Busch sits in 4th, just one point ahead of Ryan Blaney right now, but after a rough go in Kansas, he’s not exactly heading into the final race with a lot of momentum.
He battled two flat tires yesterday and finished 28th, but it was his radio freakout at Bubba Wallace that provided the most comic relief of the race.
On lap 108, Kyle Busch was battling with Bubba Wallace for the 10th position, and with the day already off to a rough start, Busch was PISSED that a non-playoff driver was in his way.
On the radio you could hear Rowdy’s spotter give him an update on his position, to which Busch screamed:
“GO THE FUCK ON!”
Followed by a hilarious:
“AHHHHHHHHH”
When he was finally clear, he radioed in one more time:
“Oh my fucking god dude, this kid…”
And sure, the moment didn’t have much bearing on the race, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t funny as hell.

The NASCAR Cup Series final four will be decided next Sunday at the Xfinity 500 at Martinsville.
