Jamey Johnson Covering Georgia Satellites’ “Keep Your Hands To Yourself” Is Gold

I’m about ready to call Jamey Johnson the king of covers…

Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, Patsy Cline, Randy Travis, George Strait, I mean the list goes on and on and on.

He’s openly talked about the importance of covering the greats of the genre and the latest example of him doing his part is just as great as the rest.

Moving away from the traditional Country scene and into Southern Rock, Jamey busted out a rocking cover of Georgia Satellites’ “Keep Your Hands To Yourself” at a show at Indian Ranch in Webster, Massachusetts.

Not that I want Jamey to move away from country music, but I gotta say, his voice and style sound really good with Southern Rock. I wouldn’t be against a Skynyrd like project from him, he was already featured on Blackberry Smoke’s latest album

Either way, sit back and enjoy this greatness.
