If you don’t know much about Austin, Texas, there’s one thing for certain…

It’s one of the best places on this planet to go take in some live music.

And now, they’re adding a brand new multi-purpose arena in what’s considered the “live music capitol of the world” (Nashville might have a say in it, but anyways).

The arena is slated to open on April 29, 2022, and they’re bringing some HITTERS to christen the new arena.

The King himself, George Strait, along with Willie Nelson and family, and the Randy Rogers Band.

I mean honestly, you can’t find a much better lineup when it comes to Texas country royalty with King George and Shotgun Willie.

Strait announced the future performance via Twitter, and he’ll be in full form by the time he gets to next year’s show at the Moody Center, as he has several concerts lined up from the end of this year to 2021.

Not to mention, Willie’s been at work himself, as he’s gearing up to drop his Willie Nelson Family album, and Randy Rogers Band dropped a new single last Friday, “Picture Frames.”

Believe it or not, the first time George and Willie performed live together was just a couple years ago. George and Willie recorded a song titled “Sing One With Willie” together for George’s most recent album Honky Tonk Time Machine.
