Just another legendary milestone for the Man in Black.

Johnny Cash is one of the best to ever do it, and that’s a fact. No questions asked.

From his outlaw attitude, to his badass live shows, and not to mention he’s one of the best storytellers the country music world has ever seen, Cash is gonna be a household name for the genre, and beyond, until the end of time.

When you think of his greatest albums, which ones come to mind?

Of course, Folsom Prison and At San Quentin come to mind, and on this date back in 1969 the man himself was topping the charts with his At San Quentin album.

At San Quentin was recorded live at San Quentin State Prison in San Quentin, California, on February 24, 1969, and it boasted some badass live performances of his hits like “A Boy Named Sue,” “I Walk the Line,” and “Folsom Prison Blues.”

The album saw a ton of success, as it was nominated for several Grammys, like Album of the Year and Best Male Country Vocal Performance for “A Boy Named Sue.”

Talk about a timeless record.
