That’s right people, the Grammy winning, guitar picking, bluegrass extroidonaire from Lansing, Michigan, has released a brand new album titled Renewal today, and if you’re not listening to it, you’re doing it wrong. Plain and simple.
Last night, Billy kicked things off with a livestream listening party, featuring a run through the entire album, plus a band question and answers session. The listening party also featured behind the scene footage from inside the studio.

“I listen to this album now and it’s emotional. I could sit there and tweak it forever, but there’s a point where it’s like building a house of cards.
Yeah, I could add an extra tower on top, but it might collapse. I’ve always doubted myself, and I still do, but this album makes me think, ‘Hey, you’re doing all right, kid. You just need to keep going.’”
Billy also released a trippy new music video for “Heartbeat Of America.”
