Talk about a performance…

In 2008 at CMT Giants, a show to honor the legends of the country music genre, Alan Jackson performed his hit song “Country Boy” and brought out some of the biggest names to sing it with him: George Strait, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley.

Alan released this song on his 2008 Good Time album and became his 25th career Number One. The music video is also pretty cool. Alan held a contest for fans to shoot their own video for the song and featured clips of those sent in on a TV in the Official Video he made for it.

Is it the deepest song Alan’s ever released? No. But is it still a jam? You betcha.

Plus, one of the things I love about country music is how everyone (for the most part) supports each other and isn’t afraid to share the stage, this performance being one of the best examples of that ethos.

And here’s the official music video.
