Imagine being a 13-year-old suiting up for your middle school football team, about to play against some kids who half of them still haven’t hit puberty yet, and you go on the field and absolutely ball out.

You walk off the field, headed to your locker room to get  ready for your mom to pick you up, when you see Florida head coach Dan Mullen walking towards you.

He then tells you that you have an OFFICIAL OFFER.

According to 247 Sports, Julian Lewis, who isn’t graduating from high school until 2026, has officially received an offer from Florida.

That’s right, the eighth-grade, star quarterback has been officially offered a full-ride.

Needless to say, the kid was stoked:

“He told me he watched my film and he likes it a lot and he wants to start recruiting me now. The (offer) is unreal.”

The Carrolton, Georgia native weights in at 5’11, 175 pounds, and has also already been recruited by other national powerhouses like LSU, Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia.

This is a risky move, considering how young the kid is. We all remember Davis Sills III, who was offered by USC in the eighth-grade. He was a bust at quarterback, losing a ton of his offers by the time he was a senior in high school.

However, the man did make a great career for himself as a wide receiver at West Virginia.

I guess time will tell for the young man.
