Throwback To Peyton Manning And Kenny Chesney Singing “Back Where I Come From” At Neyland Stadium

Man, I miss old Kenny Chesney music.

Going back to the late ’90s, early 2000s, the man was releasing some HEATERS.

Perhaps one of his most underrated songs is his 1996 jam, “Back Where I Come From,” featured on one of his third career studio album, Me And You.

The song takes you on a journey to what life was like growing up in his hometown all the way in East Tennessee, and for anyone who’s ever grown up in a small town in the South, you can relate to these lyrics in one way or another.

I was digging deep down in the vaults, and found a hidden gem from way back in 2003

Kenny did a “Tennessee Homecoming” show at Neyland Stadium, home of the Tennessee Volunteers football team, playing in front of a packed house.

This was also the first stadium show of Kenny’s career… when you realize Kenny Chesney has been playing football stadiums for close to twenty years, you start to get an idea of the kind of cash he has.

But anyways, who shows up midway through the song to join Chesney?

No other than the golden child of Tennessee football, Mr. Peyton Manning… decked out in cowboy get up, from the hat to the boots.

Talk about a perfect way to end a show at Neyland Stadium.
