People Are REALLY Sick Of That “Fancy Like” Applebee’s Commercial

Graphical user interface, application, website

Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by the new Applebee’s commercial featuring Walker Hayes‘ “Fancy Like.”

If your hand’s not raised, you’re a liar.

If you’re somehow NOT familiar with the commercial I’m talking about, you probably don’t own a TV. But Applebee’s has enlisted Walker Hayes and his song “Fancy Like” for a commercial featuring people on TikTok doing the viral dance for the song.

You can watch the commercial here if you haven’t seen it, but chances are you already have – a million times.

That damn commercial is EVERYWHERE. I had planned on having what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend of watching college football and NASCAR, and instead I was subjected to people doing TikTok dances to a song about Bourbon Street Steak and Oreo shakes every time there was a break in the action.

I didn’t keep track of how many times I saw that commercial on Saturday but if I had, it would be well into the double digits.

Just how big can Applebee’s ad budget be at this point anyway?

The song came out in June and has slowly taken over, first going viral on TikTok thanks to the dance created by Walker’s daughter, and now it’s taken over our TVs too.

And from college football fans to NASCAR fans and even people just tuning in to watch some soccer, everybody’s begging for mercy.

Buckle up, sports fans. It’s going to be a long season.
