In a year of what has appeared to be an experimentation year for several beer and alcohol companies, a new brand is stepping up to the plate with something we’ve yet to see from your typical domestic beer company:

Natural Light Vodka.

That’s right, Natty Light unveiled a new project today, which appears to be a spinoff of the iconic Naturdays, with a lemonade-flavored vodka. It will be offered in three flavors: Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, and Black Cherry Lemonade.

According to Forbes, the new vodka will weigh in at 30% ABV, and be available in 750 ml and 50 ml bottles.

Daniel Blake, Group VP for Budweiser & Value at Anheuser-Busch, is stoked for the new release:

“Natural Light is constantly looking to innovate to meet the evolving flavor preference of our fans. Nothing is off the table.

Amongst the Natural Light core drinker, vodka is their favorite spirit, and specifically flavored vodka is growing in popularity with Natty fans.

We saw this as an opportunity to further expand the Natural Light offering and address those changing tastes by innovating with flavor that is shockingly delicious and has our fun and creative brand personality.

With each innovation we get closer to our long-term strategic goal of becoming the preferred alcohol beverage brand for young adults, not just the preferred beer brand for them.”

They also announced that if you try it and aren’t a fan, you can submit your receipt by September 13 for a refund… what have you got to lose?

The new Natty Light Vodka will initially be hitting the shelves of Maryland, Washington D.C., South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kansas.
