Texas Senator Roasts The HELL Out Of Longhorns President: “Maybe Your Fanbase Would Rather Lose To Alabama Than TCU”

A man and a woman sitting at a table

NO SHE DIDN’T.

Everybody is trying to figure out the reasoning behind Oklahoma and Texas joining the SEC.

From a financial standpoint, I get it. But how the hell does Texas think they can win in the SEC when they can’t even win in the Big-12?

Literally everybody has been throwing shade at the Longhorns and the Sooners, including ol’ head ball Coach Steve Spurrier. He had a “drop the mic” moment when he said:

“I can understand Texas jumping over. They get to play Texas A&M again. They can’t win the Big-12 anyway. I think they’re only won two in the last 30 years or so. What is it?”

And now, we even have senators from Texas piling on the Longhorns.

During a Senate committee hearing earlier this week on the future of college sports in Texas, Texas State Senator Lois Kolkhorst was discussing finances with University of Texas President, Jay Hartzell.

When asked about the UT’s athletics budget, Hartzell responds that it’s somewhere in the neighborhood of $220-225 million dollars. Oh, you know, just good enough for the highest in the entire country.

That’s where Kolkhorst went nuclear:

“That’s without a winning football team of late.”

Hartzell responded:

“In spite of our football team. We’ve been winning… just not like we’d like to win.”

Then, the senator has the biggest savage moment of 2021:

“3-7 versus the Horned Frogs… so maybe your fan base would rather lose to Alabama than TCU.”

Hello 911, I’d like to report a murder on the Texas State floor.

I mean, just straight up body bagged in cold blood by a politician… you hate to see it.

To be honest though, I can’t wait for 2025 when Texas joins the SEC, and wins about three games… it’s gonna even hurt more than Senator Kolkhorst.
