Cody Johnson has stayed true to his promises.

As we anticipate his upcoming double-album, Human, along with his Dear Rodeo documentary, the man has promised to release two singles a month all the way up to the album release date in October.

It started with “Til You Can’t” and “Longer Than She Did.” Then last month we got “God Bless the Boy (Cori’s Song)” and “Stronger.”

And today, he’s officially announced two new songs slated for release this Friday.

CoJo announced the upcoming release of “Let’s Build A Fire,” and “Driveway” via Instagram, and gave us a little teaser of what we have to look forward to.

“Let’s Build A Fire” appears to be a badass boot stomper as he sings about Carhartt coats, bonfires, and high school football on the way, in perfect timing to get us ready for fall.

Then in good ol’ CoJo fashion, he spins it right back to a slow-paced waltz with “Driveway.”

Alright, I can’t wait any longer.

There’s no doubt in my mind that this double-album is gonna be his best work to date.
