Whataburger To Open NINE Locations In The Nashville Area By Next Year

GREAT news for the people of Nashville.

No, Broadway is not getting another shithole celebrity-owned bar on Broadway (at least not anytime soon).

But if you know anything about Texas, Whataburger is the prize fast-food franchise of the state.

Hell, Parker McCollum even wrote one of his greatest hits at 2 AM in a Whataburger drive-thru. I guess it just drives inspiration when you’re about 18 beers deep and you get the urge for some late night/early morning fast food.

Which is exactly why they decided that Tennessee is the perfect place to expand.

According to Nashville Eater, Whataburger will be adding nine, yes NINE, new locations all over the city in the next year, bringing their delicious burgers, chicken strip sandwiches, and honey butter chicken biscuits.

I mean, it couldn’t be more perfect. One, there are several states that have never had a Whataburger, and two, with the influx of people across the nation coming to Nashville and Tennessee in general, the new locations will be an instant hit.

On top of that, the drunk hunger is always serious in the Music City after a night on the town, so I’m sure the burger joint will be an ideal stopping point on the way home.

By the end of 2022, the Nashville area will have nine locations, one in Nashville proper, with the remaining spots located in Hermitage, Gallatin, Murfreesboro, two in Lebanon, Madison, Smyrna, and Mt. Juliet.

The first location will open in Hermitage later this year.
