You’re gonna do what, now?
During the post-fight press conference the other night, Dustin Poirier said he would fight Conor McGregor again, whether it was in the ring or on the sidewalk, but it wasn’t because McGregor kept mentioning his wife…
It was because McGregor said he was going to kill him in his sleep.
And now, we have the ringside video from that conversation.
Poirier called the behavior disgusting:
“He was sitting there on the mat with a broken leg telling me that he was going to kill me still, like what are you doing bro? It’s disgusting man.”
McGregor also gestured a gun to the head when he made the threat.
And granted, Conor more than likely has no intentions of ever carrying that out, and it’s all for show, but if you’re Poirier, do you really want to give him the benefit of the doubt?
It’s not hard to see why he’s fired up, and why that kind of talk has no place in this sport.
