‘Home Improvement’ Star Jonathan Taylor Thomas Spotted In Public For First Time In Years… And Holy F*ck I Feel Old

It feels so long ago when Jonathan Taylor Thomas was stealing the show as Randy Taylor on Home Improvement.

Seriously, it feels like light years ago.

The kid was on top of the world as television and movie mega star as well as an all around ’90s-era heartthrob, but then, Thomas seemingly… fell off the planet.

We just haven’t really heard from the guy since he left the show back in the late ’90s, aand aside from a few roles here and there, his acting career is non-existent.

However, it appears the guy is alive and well, as he was spotted walking his dog out in Hollywood on June 20th, according to US Magazine. The crazy thing is that it’s the first picture of him to surface in over eight years.

What’s even crazier, is that he’s 39-YEARS-OLD.

Feel old yet?

After a long layoff to pursue his education at Chaminade and Harvard, he came back to the acting scene, appearing in the sitcom Last Man Standing, reuniting with his former co-star on Home Improvement, Tim Allen between 2013-2015.

It was quite obvious that the acting scene wasn’t exactly for Thomas though, as he made that very clear in a 1996 interview with Premiere Magazine:

“You can’t be trapped in this bubble called the acting industry.

The industry is neurotic and weird, and so when I go home and I play basketball with my friends, I’m not Jonathan Taylor Thomas. I’m just Jonathan. I don’t like hanging out with other actors and actresses.”

It’s hard to know what exactly he’s up to these days, as he’s obviously quite the private dude.

Still though, where has the time gone?

And by the way, I’ll Be Home For Christmas is one of the ALL-TIME, most underrated Christmas movies.

You’re welcome.
