Luke Combs announced he’s officially sending his boot-stompin’, break-up tune “Cold As You” to country radio as his next single.
The song is from his 2019 record What You See Is What You Get, and appears to be the sixth and final single from that album before new music is released soon.
In all likelihood, I would not be surprised one bit to see it become his 12th straight number one single, as well.
He announced the new pick in a tweet that subsequently hinted at a new record, which he’s also teased recently:
“Excited to let y’all know “Cold As You” will be my next song on the radio, then it’s time for NEW MUSIC.”
So, we have a kick-ass new song from Luke about to hit the radio airwaves, and we should be hearing something in the near future about an official album on the way, too.
If that doesn’t get you hyped up on a Wednesday, I don’t know what will. He’s sitting on a gold mine of great unreleased tracks, and I’m sure plenty more we haven’t even heard yet.
With Luke also gearing up for a massive headlining tour in top of it, y’all better buckle up because things are about to get GOOD.
