Michael Jordan’s Golf Course Has Beer Delivery Drones, Proving Once More Why He’s The GOAT

A person playing golf

As an avid golfer, I can think of plenty scenarios when I was in desperate need of something to drink.

Especially last year, when tons of golf courses took away water coolers on the course due to the risk of spreading COVID-19.

You’re sitting on the 15th hole, a million miles away from the clubhouse, and there’s no source of water in sight as you swelter in the mid-July heat…

Or you’re down a few bucks to you buddies in a friendly money match, and you need some birdie juice (aka alcohol) but you forgot to pack a cooler.

Very unfortunate situations.

However, Michael Jordan’s golf course has found the missing piece of the puzzle when it comes to delivering drinks/food on the golf course.

According to New York Post, Jordan and his staff at his “The Grove XXIII” golf course in South Florida were looking for innovative ways to deliver things to golfers in a safe, precautionary manner as the COVID-19 pandemic surged last year.

Their answer?

Delivery drones.

That’s right, in a video recently shared on TikTok by a user named @mmozillo, you can see a drone delivering some cold brews to a guy on the course.

How cool is this?

If there was one good thing the pandemic brought us, it was people who came up with new ways to get things done when the world was shut down.

It appears the “drone delivery” has been a big hit, considering everything is opened back up in Florida and the method is still kickin’.

So if you’re ever stuck on the golf course and you’re fiending for something to eat or drink, look no further than The Grove XXIII, it’ll fulfill all your golf course amenity needs.
