Logan Halstead Wows Kentucky Crowd With Hilarious Song, “P*ssy In Paintsville”

We’ve been really high on this kid Logan Halstead here lately.

The 18-year-old from Boone County, West Virginia, paints a picture that goes well beyond his age, singing songs about the struggles of growing up in the heart of Appalachia.

And when you’re growing up in the heart if Appalachia, there’s a couple things you can count on… that “Dark Black Coal,” and… p*ssy in Paintsville.

Performing at the Laurel Cove Music Festival in Pineville, Kentucky this past weekend, Halstead had the crowd howling as he sang a song titled “P*ssy In Paintsville.”

You can hear several hoots and hollers from the crowd as he makes his way through the colorful verses:

“Pass me a light, we’ll burn through the night,
like a couple of stars in the sky.
I can’t stay long, gotta be movin’ on,
I heard that there’s p*ssy in Paintsville.”

Poetry.

And fun fact for those that don’t know: Paintsville is actually the home town of Tyler Childers, which is ironic because Logan sounds like the love child of Tyler himself, and Wheeler Walker Jr., another Kentucky native.

Logan also shared the song back in January on his Instagram:
