Kevin Harvick’s Son Surprises Dad With Grave Digger Paint Scheme For Nashville NASCAR Race

Ok, this might be one of the coolest NASCAR paint schemes I’ve ever seen.

I’m a big fan of Monster Jam (yeah I’m 33, so what, monster trucks are awesome) and obviously Grave Digger is the most popular and most recognizable monster truck there is.

It’s never had much speed though – until now.

Stewart Haas Racing unveiled a special Grave Digger paint scheme that Kevin Harvick will be running at NASCAR’s Father’s Day race at Nashville Superspeedway this weekend.

And they enlisted Harvick’s son, Keelan, to surprise dad with his new ride.

Talking with Monster Jam drivers Ryan and Adam Anderson, sons of legendary Grave Digger driver Dennis Anderson, Harvick said he considers it “an honor” to get to drive the Grave Digger-themed car after growing up watching the truck himself and now watching Monster Jam with his own son.

I mean, how cool is this car?

NASCAR’s return to Music City this Sunday will feature several special paint schemes, with Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge announcing earlier this month that the legendary Nashville bar will sponsor Daniel Suarez in the #99 car.

Seems like teams are pulling out all the stops this weekend to make it a special weekend for the fans.

And it looks like Harvick’s teammates are jealous that they’re not getting to drive a Monster Jam-themed car this weekend too.
