Dierks Bentley Joins Brothers Osborne For Rocking Performance of “Lighten Up”

This year’s CMT Awards were, as per usual, not great, but there were a few bright spots throughout the night.

Chris Stapleton and Miranda Lambert & Co certainly got the most praise, but there was another performance that caught my eye and ear as well.

Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne teamed up to play “Lighten Up” off Brothers Osborne’s latest record Skeletons, and it was pretty damn good. Something about the guys voices just blend together, as if Dierks is a long lost brother to the Maryland natives.

They previously teamed up for “Burning Man,” the biggest hit from Dierks’ 2018 Album The Mountain. Written by Bobby Pinson and Luke Dick, the song went to Number 5 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs.

It’s hard to find a better group of guys than these three.

Keep it up, gentlemen. The country music world needs more of you.
