Brothers Osborne Sends Powerful Message In New “Younger Me” Music Video

Almost two months after Brothers Osborne released their empowering song “Younger Me,” we now have the music video to go along with it.

The song was inspired by the support lead singer TJ Osborne received after coming out as gay earlier this year:

“Younger Me” is a hopeful message from TJ to his younger self, and to all of those who have grown up feeling different and alienated from everybody else, letting them know that the times are changing and it’s all gonna be alright.

“Younger me
Hanging out but not quite fitting in
Didn’t know that being different
Really wouldn’t be the end
Younger me”

The black-and-white video features a number of children, many of whom probably feel the same way TJ did when he was younger.

And it takes place on the steps of the Tennessee State Capitol, likely as a way to send a message after the state’s House of Representatives blocked an effort to honor TJ after coming out.
