Plenty of tours and festivals are back in business again this year, but we’ve also seen a number of events postponed for the second consecutive year.

Stagecoach officially joined that list of postponed events back in January.

The festival was planned to rev back up in April this year, after it was postponed to October in 2020, however, with the state of pandemic in California, they decided to push it back once again to April of 2022.

Festival founder and Goldenvoice president Paul Tollett weighed in on the postponement to the Desert Sun:

“We feel April is the right time for us to present the best experience.”

Stagecoach will now take place on April 29th- May 1st, in Indio, California, with the sister festival Coachella taking place on April 15-17, and the second weekend on April 22-24.

No lineups have been released, and organizers noted the reason for the postponement is to open up Coachella’s payment plan program for fans looking to pay for their tickets in installments, which opens on Friday at 10 AM Pacific time.
