Aaron Rodgers Skips Packers OTAs To Go To Hawaii And Play “Wagon Wheel” With His Fiancée Shailene Woodley

A man holding a stick

If you weren’t convinced that Aaron Rodgers was done with Green Bay, this might change your mind. Or it might not, who knows…

The 37-year old quarterback decided to skip Green Bay’s OTAs, which isn’t a huge deal. I mean, not a great look for a leader of an NFL team, and you lose out on half a million bucks, but hey, he’s heading towards retirement soon and OTAs are voluntary.

So how did he spend his time away from the Packers organization?

Hanging out with his fiancée Shailene Woodley, Keleigh Sperry, and his good buddy Miles Teller in good ol’ Hawaii, getting rip-shit drunk, and singing some “Wagon Wheel” karaoke.

To be fair, he might be at a wedding, but I’ll go ahead and say it… I think my guy is living his best life.

Perhaps the most impressive part of the videos that have been released (everybody gotta record everything these days, huh?) is the fact that Rodgers can play the guitar. Granted, nobody likes the guy that whips out “Wagon Wheel” at a party, I mean, what are you gonna play next, “Wonderwall?”

So I’m not saying he’s Tyler Childers or anything, but the guy can strum a lil’ bit.

And at the end of the day, he’s devoted 15 years to an organization that allegedly screwed him over, and the guy just wants to kick back and relax for once.

No harm, no foul, but it doesn’t look like he will be reporting to Green Bay anytime soon…

Can we get a lil’ Darius Rucker/Aaron Rodgers collab in the meantime though?
