Things are about to get rowdy in Boone, North Carolina, this summer.

Luke Combs, North Carolina native, legendary country singer, and pro beer drinker, will be returning to his alma mater Appalachian State this September at Kidd Brewer Stadium.

The show was originally supposed to happen last year, but was canceled due to the pandemic.

He announced the rescheduling on Twitter, and he also noted that all tickets bought for the previous year will be redeemed, also stating that refunds will be available to those who cannot attend.

If you’ve ever been to Boone, NC on an App State gameday, you know that place is absolutely bonkers. They have arguably the most passionate fanbase out of any school their size, so you know this concert is about to be legendary…

On top of that, students and fans have been foaming at the mouth for this reschedule for over a year.

All I gotta say is, hopefully the fire departments are on stand by, because they might just burn it down.

Plus, he promises it will be worth the wait…
