Padres Fan Knocks Rockies Fan Out Cold With One Punch, Promptly Gets Swarmed By Everybody Else In The Stands

Baseball is BACK.

Fans are back in the stands, the cold beer is flowing, hot dogs are on the grill, and in Denver, the hard right crosses are LANDING.

During last night’s game at Coors Field, two fans appeared to get into some kind of altercation which led to the Padres fan walking over to the Rockies fan and, without hesitation, knocking him into next week.

I mean, the old fashioned two hitter quitter… me hittin’ you, you hittin’ the floor.

Unfortunately for the Padres fan, while the tattooed jaw of the Rockies fan rested comfortably on the pavement, the rest of Rockies Nation was QUICK to help out a fellow fan in purple.

They swarmed his ass like a pack of hyenas…

And as the Rockies fans started to rush him, he just stood there stone-faced, accepting his all but certain fate.

I mean, they’re rushing in from all angles and look at this guy… hands not even up.

Reminds of that scene from Game Of Thrones during the massacre at Hardhome…

You just kind of know you’re up the creek…

However, according to TMZ, the guy that got punched didn’t want to press charges.

“The person who threw the first punch, was contacted by police. However, the person struck did not want to press charges.”

How about that, eh? How refreshing is it to get punched right in the chops, and NOT immediately call your lawyer? A man whose mouth appears to be writing checks his fists couldn’t cash, but rather than trying to get even, he decides to put some ice on it and call it day. No harm, no foul.

My only regret is that we don’t get to see what happened to the Padres fan as soon as the melee started… it wasn’t looking good for him.

Oh yeah, and the Rockies won 3-2… hope you took the under.
