After all of the recent Paul brother shenanigans, it looks like every fighter out there wants a piece of these two.
The latest? UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell, who’s saying he’ll take Jake Paul anywhere, anytime.
When posed with the question on Twitter, the former UFC light heavyweight champ weighed in (no pun intended) with this:
“Ready anytime for that clown.”
Of course, Jake had to clap back, posting a pic on his Instagram story posing with Liddell after a fight, saying:
“This guy @chuckliddell begged me for a pic after my fight and now is talking shit on Twitter.”
Well, that’s awkward…
But hey, a big fat check is a big fat check.
Now I ain’t saying Paul has a chance (he doesn’t), but I probably like his chances a bit more than his brother Logan’s chances with Floyd Mayweather.
Although a UFC Hall of Famer, he’s not a boxer, and he’s lost six of his last seven fights, including his most recent one in 2018 when he got KO’d by Tito Ortiz. Logan lost his only fight ever to another YouTuber…
However, in his prime, Liddell compiled an MMA record of 21-9, and is considered to be one of the best MMA fighters of all time.
Needless to say, ol’ Jake would have his hands full and then some trying to take a punch from the Iceman.
I understand the shit talk is all part of the show, but with all of these decorated boxers and UFC fighters coming out wanting to kick his arse, it’s only a matter of time before he eats his words and takes that knock out punch.
Hopefully I’m watching when he does.
