Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall, And Jack Ingram Release Trailer For ‘The Marfa Tapes’ Film

Fire. Me. Up.

There’s been a ton of excitement surrounding Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall, and Jack Ingram’s The Marfa Tapes album, and that same excitement just amplified even more… we now have a film trailer for the documentary.

Documenting the trio’s songwriting trip to Marfa, Texas, we get an early taste of how much these songs mean for each person.

Miranda opens the trailer with this:

“These songs mean so much to us, they’re our life. Jack and Jon and I listened and listened to all the ones we had done, fifteen songs over five years. We thought, ‘What’s gonna happen to these if we don’t just put ’em out?'”

Jon also weighed in on the their experiences over the years:

“It comes together, it was somehow just perfect timing. I go down there, you talk about Marfa all the time, let’s go see Jack, he’s playing in Midland, and let’s just go write.”

After catching a glimpse of this trailer, May 7th can’t get here fast enough. The Marfa Tapes film will also be played on Facebook on May 8th at 7/6 CT.
