Lots of people looking for second jobs these days.
But I didn’t expect Kacey Musgraves to be one of them.
The Grammy-award winning superstar spent Friday afternoon serving up shaved ice to fans in Nashville, fulfilling what Musgraves called a “lifelong dream.”
It all started a week ago when she posted a selfie on her Instagram story asking if any snow cone stands were hiring.
Well, it looks like one took her up on the offer.
Blue Monkey Shaved Ice, a Nashville food truck that’s located on 12 South during seasonal weekends, slid into her DMs and offered Musgraves a job. And she was happy to oblige.
After posting on her Instagram story right before her shift started that she would be slinging snow cones, fans quickly lined up for some free shaved ice – and the chance to meet Kacey Musgraves.
Imagine rolling up to a shaved ice truck and being served by Kacey Musgraves. Only in Nashville.
Now it looks like Kacey enjoyed the new gig, but for all of our sake I hope she doesn’t decide to make a career change and leave the country music game just yet.
But hey, it’s always good to have a backup plan.
And speaking of snow cones…
