New Orleans Strip Club Giving Out COVID Vaccines & Free Alcohol With “Shot-For-Shot” Event

God bless New Orleans.

If I learned anything from my time living in the Big Easy, it’s that everything revolves around alcohol.

Breakfast? Alcohol. Lunch? Alcohol. Dinner? Alcohol. Graduations? Alcohol. Hurricane headed towards the city? Alcohol. Celebrating the birth of your child? Alcohol. Funerals? Alcohol.

So of course it makes sense that the city is trying to entice people to get their COVID vaccines with…alcohol.

Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, a strip club located on the famous Bourbon Street, is hosting a “shot for shot” event next week, where people can head down to the French Quarter strip club and get a free COVID vaccine as well as a free shot of…you guessed it, alcohol.

The shot-for-shot event takes place next Friday, May 7 from 4 PM to 6:30 PM, and according to the club’s general manager Ann Kesler, is designed to provide a convenient location for both French Quarter restaurants and Bourbon Street employees to get their vaccine.

“This is about safety and normalcy. We want to see this city where we’ve operated for years open back up quickly and safely.”

I mean, it makes sense. Of anywhere that you’d expect to catch COVID (among other things), close-contact businesses like strip clubs have to be pretty high on the list.

Good for them for doing their part to get things back to normal.

Only in New Orleans…
