It’s the man, they myth, the legend…

John Daly, perhaps the best media personality the golf world has ever seen, turns 55 today.

If you haven’t heard of this guy before, you need to look him up ASAP. You won’t regret it.

The man’s notorious for being able to hit the golf ball a country mile, chain smoke some cigarettes, snap some golf clubs in half, pound some Miller Lite, and be a lil’ reckless with the ladies. Not to mention, he sings a lil’ country music here and there too.

On top of that, his first ever professional golf win was the 1991 PGA Championship.

So cheers to the king, we all wish you the best here at Whiskey Riff.

Keep hittin’ the ball hard.

And of course, his one hit wonder country song:

A beer bottle on a dock
