The Steel Woods Release Powerful New Song About Overcoming Your Demons, “Out Of The Blue”

Derek Stanley

The Steel Woods are gearing up to release their third studio album, All Of Your Stones, and they have us all on the edge of our seat, as they’ve released their third track from the album today.

After releasing the title track “All Of Your Stones” and “Run on Ahead,” song number three is titled “Out Of The Blue.”

If you haven’t heard by now, The Steel Woods lost their lead guitarist and co-founder, Jason “Rowdy” Cope back in January, and they’re putting out this album in remembrance of him, as he co-wrote many of the songs on the album… including this one.

An autobiographical tune about battling his demons and coming out on the other side, Rowdy’s “Out Of The Blue” is quintessential The Steel Woods. If you appreciate the old sound of southern rock, with a mix of soul, and some country twang, “Out Of The Blue is for you.

All Of Your Stones is set to drop on May 14th.
