Alan Jackson’s ” You’ll Always Be My Baby” Video Is Enough To Make A Grown Man Cry

Alan Jackson ripping your heart with this one.

His hit songs “Drive (For Daddy Gene)” and “Remember When” are enough to get us all feeling some type of way, and now he’s added another one to the arsenal:

“You’ll Always Be My Baby.”

We saw him sing it at this year’s ACM Awards along with “Drive,” and needless to say, everybody was moved by the performance.

He wrote the song for his three daughters on their wedding days, and I gotta pretty good feeling you’ll be seeing this song pop up for plenty father/daughter dances at weddings all across the country here soon.

Jackson just released a lyric video for the song, and even though it’s simply a lyric video, he gives us a timeline of his daughters growing up, with several old pictures to recent ones.

“I wrote the song for Mattie’s wedding the summer of 2017, but it was so hard to do. I told ’em, ‘I wrote this for all of you.”

For all you fathers out there with a little girl, be prepared to get a little misty eyed. It’s just inevitable.
