ZZ Top burned down a few venues back in the day, plus, who could forget those signature long beards? And “La Grange?” One of the great signature guitar licks in music history.

Yep ZZ Top is an icon in the music world, and the band’s legacy still lives on today. Their song “Sharp Dressed Man” was even the intro for the hit tv show, Duck Dynasty.

And now, the people who were inspired by the group are coming together to give back, as a tribute concert for the group’s lead guitarist Billy Gibbons at the Grand Ole Opry House has now been announced.

And let me tell you, the field is STRONG.

According to Rolling Stone, Eric Church, Lucinda Williams, Brad Paisley, Ronnie Milsap, Travis Tritt, and Dennis Quaid (yes, the actor Dennis Quaid) are set to perform for the tribute.

The list of performances doesn’t end there, as Jimmie Vaughan, Larkin Poe, Guthrie Trapp, Tim Montana, and a “special guest” will also be taking the stage.

Not only is this a concert to give back to the legendary guitar player, but it doubles as a benefit for military, veterans, and first-responder charities like the USO and First Responders Children’s Foundation.

How cool is this though, we get to hear artists from several different genres get together to play some of ZZ Tops greatest hits. For all the dads out there who grew up spinning your ZZ Top chains from the rearview mirrors of your car, be sure to get your tickets ASAP.

And checkout this music video for “Sharp Dressed man,” damn the ’80s were a wild time.
