Miranda Lambert, Jon Randall And Jack Ingram Bring Texas Country To Nashville For The ACM Awards

Texas country in Nashville… you have to love it.

During last night’s ACM Awards, Miranda, Jack and Jon delivered a knockout acoustic version of their song “In His Arms” from their forthcoming album, The Marfa Tapes.

It was one of the most stripped-down, raw performances of the night… and also one of the best. I love that they got out there on national TV with little to no production or flash and just sang a true blue country song.

It’s also cool to see Jack and Jon, who are not really a part of Nashville scene other than their ties to Miranda as co-writers, and some production work here and there, put on a national stage and have an opportunity to bring attention to the greatness of Texas country.

Miranda performed two other times on the show, kicking things off with Elle King on “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” and joining Chris Stapleton for a last minute performance of “Maggie’s Song,” as well.
